Biblical Egypt Study
Tour
March 15–March 25, 2008
The Biblical Egypt Study Tour is the unique experience of a lifetime! For 2008, we have added an additional day in Luxor so we have more time to visit the Valley of the Kings, and the beautiful Temples of Luxor and Karnak. Further, we will be traveling across the Sinai to see Gebel Khashm el-Tarif, a very serious candidate for the location of Mount Sinai. We will be sharing the latest ABR research on this location. We will also be staying at the luxurious Hilton Resort at Taba on the Gulf of Aqaba. These additional features make the ABR Biblical Egypt Study Tour better than ever before. Won't you join us as we travel to this beautiful and ancient world? Don't miss this trip!

Lower Egypt (the Nile's northern delta where the Nile empties into the Mediterranean Sea) was the part of Egypt known in the Bible. The delta's eastern side was the Land of Goshen where the Israelites lived during the Sojourn and where Moses confronted Pharaoh. Nearby sat the Sphinx and the Pyramids, which were no doubt seen by Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Jeremiah and maybe even baby Jesus!
Upper Egypt (the southern area around modern Luxor) was the site of palaces, temples and tombs of the Egyptian Pharaohs of the
Biblical events. The Sinai, where the Israelites traveled during the Wilderness Wanderings, while under Egyptian control, was not part of Egypt proper in antiquity.
A study tour through this land, with its massive architecture and beautiful artwork, will be pleasing to the eyes, enlightening to the mind and give you a deeper understanding of the land where Israel grew from a family to a nation.
Come join us in Egypt in 2008!
